Black Hawk Down

Recently I was listening to the soundtrack from the movie "Black Hawk Down," directed by Ridley Scott, and I was thinking about how that movie really makes you feel as though you are witnessing the intense battles in front of you. The movie follows the true story about American troops in Somalia during President Clinton's first term in office. When troops try to capture the rebel leader within the "bad" district of the capital, the whole objective changes. One of the helicopters is shot down and instead of the soldiers trying to get the leaders out of the city, it turns into a daring rescue mission where unlikely hero's emerge to lead the men to victory. All in all I personally felt that I was going to tear during the movie because I imagined my self in their situation. The movie shows how true courage and determination leads to victory against all odds of survival.
